Birthday

It's my birthday today, another one closer to the big 4-0 in 4 years time. Eek.

We've had a really good day. Kerr started playgroup this morning which he seemed to enjoy. He grew some cress seeds, played with playdough, drew a picture, had stories and songs, snack time and dressing up. All in 2 hours! Hopefully next time I can leave him for a while and sneak away.

We called in at my friend J's house for lunch, birthday cake and cuddles with baby L. Thanks for having us!

Granny and Grandad popped in to visit this afternoon. They helped Kerr with his playdough, then we played with Me Porato Head.

Next stop was my parents' house for a drink and a natter while we waited for kerrsdaddy arriving home from work.

This evening we went out for dinner at a local Buffet restaurant. We were thinking Kerr would go into meltdown due to no nap today. However he did really well, ate a fair amount and occupied himself well with his Mr Maker comic, scissors and sticky bits of cardboard.

All in all a fab day. Getting older isn't so bad after all :-)
