Sweet Potato House Plant

Independence day 64 for Israel.
We were out for a barbie at friends home on the edge of the Judean Hills outside Jerusalem. I have a ton of barbie photos but this house plant intrigued me the most. It is a plain sweet Potato that was put at the top of a jar filled with rocks and water. The potato soaks up the water and eventually grows what looks like an ivy . Rather unique.
It was a great day and this guy was a chef and gorged us with lots of meat. The salad dishes were all homemade by his wife. It took a half hour nap to work all the food off. Then a cake creation and mint tea. Then kitkats to round it off. I am fully round.
