Prunus Spinosa

Late afternoon, after a day of painting walls and woodwork, decided I needed a breath of fresh air so walked down our lane to the beach.

This lane is one of my favourite foraging places, gathering elderflower, blackberries, hazel nuts and sloes.

Prunus Spinosa is the Blackthorn which has been flowering here for a few weeks, in about 5 months time the Sloes should be ready for picking and making into our favourite tipple - Sloe Gin :-)
