Pretty things in Liberty's

This is my good friend Sania at the launch of her latest book in Liberty's this afternoon. Sania is a designer and stylist and this book is filled with craft projects for things for children so I spent a happy hour around the table chatting to all sorts of random folks and following instructions to make a hairband for Anna. Hopefully she'll like it and won't scrutinise the neatness of the back too much or compare it to the original one made by Sania she owns. It was fun to spend time doing something completely different. And great to see so many people there supporting Sania. Especially having seen from behind the scenes the amount of time and effort that creating the book has taken.

Now I'm off to do my mad old lady piano tinkling.
