The Commie

The Commonwealth Pool, looking suitably imposing for a swimming baths which carries the nickname "The Commie".

It was the first time I'd been in since the refurb. They've made a nice job of it, still a lot of the familiar which I remember from childhood, but freshened up. In theory, this is the beginning of a regular program of visits. We shall see if I take to that like I did to blip.
