BARNABAS THE BALEFUL

A knitting project, finished. And that is quite a miracle for me. I found the pattern during our visit to Carlisle Cathedral a few weeks ago. There are two other Gargoyles to knit, and I so enjoyed making Barnabas that I shall be sending for the other patterns.

He has two little wings at the back ,and each upper and lower eyelid, his nose, mouth, horns, ears, and thumbs were made seperately. That was a lot of sewing up!

Meanwhile, another knitting project is underway, though I dropped the hank of wool and spent over half an hour unravelling the mess before I'd even casted a stitch on.
