Wrapped up in towelling
Some of wife Gill's girlfriends had given her a dressing gown for her birthday and she wanted a picture to show them how much she liked it. So this wasn't planned as today's blip (as if there is a plan) but I didn't see why not. With the central heating still awaiting replacement, she certainly needs it.
She's just been called in to work to relieve a pharmacist whose wife has been taken ill. At least someone here is earning today although I too had a royalty statement this morning; nice to see my books have earned something these past few months.
I forgot to mention I had some pictures and a feature published in the May issue of Trout and Salmon magazine that's in the shops just now. The picture spread included this one of my mate Bryan Kruse and his springer spaniel Solo. He said Solo, who died a a while ago, was a "once in a lifetime dog". I'm glad he has this picture as a reminder.
Sorting through some pics later, I overlooked this one of the dog, Pippa. It's growing on me.
