Tiny Eeper!

My first time holding an eeper (as they're known by rat people - I think the term probably refers to them when they're still pink and absolutely newborn - this little fellow has started to get his colour, but not his fur yet - I'm no expert).

Anyway, they were utterly gorgeous - so tiny, and their eyes aren't open yet either! Their skin on their tummies is so translucent that you can even see white where the milk is in their little tums! Amazing!

I had a busy morning at home, then set off mid afternoon, first to local town to do jobs, then to bigger town to do shopping, then up to my friend Sam's house to visit her and her rat shed - and, of course, the little tiny ratties!

Absolutely brilliant!

Oh, and Sam has two gorgeous big black dogs! And a sewing machine and loads of fabric at one end of her shed where she makes hammocks and stuff!

But this little chap and his 15 brothers and sisters were the cutest of all!

Then it was home, supper, bath, and bed! Early start tomorrow!
