Kite Surfing at Mudeford

Wet and windy day ( only in England can we have a hosepipe ban and flood warnings at the same time!)
Lots of Kite Surfers out giving an great display display , hope the rain has gone by the weekend.

Kite surfer

He's a human kite;
flying over the ocean -
and when the wind
is just right -
He uses the motion
of the waves;
to defy gravity.

Under dark blueskies;
he glides,
he flies -
his kite -
black, red
and white;
catches the air -
People stare -
in amazement
from the beach -
his feet toward
the sky;
he teaches
them to fly.

He is passionate
about kite-boarding;
he dreams about
soaring with
sea-birds -
Focused on his
freedom -
he just keeps on
getting stronger -
It's been a while
since I seen him -
his hair has
gotten longer.

He always sticks
sweet tricks -
and captivates a
curious crowd;
he lives his life
outrageously, out-loud.
He is proud; perfect
in his profession...
He said he'll give
me a lesson;
the next time we're
together -
I pray, the weather,
will be pleasant, then.
