World Book Night Reading

For a while now I've wanted to re-read Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. I had memories of it being almost more wonderful than it's pre-quel.
Prompted by an ITV Roald Dahl documentary presented by David Walliams (which actually made me want to have him read all Dahl's books to me, him reading to the kids in the doc was Stephen Fry reading Harry Potter-esque), I clambered up, got it down from the shelf and finished it in about two and a half hours.
It's still as wonderful to my adult brain as it was to my 8 year old brain (in Class 4). Also I'd forgotten the first half of the plot, which is always a bit of a bonus.
