Garden Party

We are living in an area that is being devastated by a drought. There are bans on hosepipes and other restrictions. It is so serious that currently my garden is flooded. This was one of the larger puddles (water features?) we have, By far the worst on was near the house as it was draining to the end wall, over the damp course and into an air brick.
We spend an hour moving this puddle, over 800 litres of water transported to the ditch in a 40 litre floppy bucket; good way to work up am appetite.
Why the heading Garden Party. Well this weekend is my 60th birthday and we planned a party in the garden with people coming from all over. First chance for most to see the house, many camping in the garden.
Big rethink coming up I think. Gondolas, House Boats, Inflatable Titanic's and icebergs perhaps??
