Light's Out

There are probably 30 big lights shining on the antique standards in front of Belfast City Hall this wet, windy April evening. But one of them is out. Perhaps it's the rain. Perhaps it's the local government's new money saving plan - Austerity by Stealth. Remove one bulb a day; by the end of the month, they're all out. Light bulbs this month, workers next. Beautiful symmetry . . .
