substitute

color me stupid for this one - went to see one of my favorite bands (sigur ros) at one of the best venues (red rocks) tonight, and forgot my camera entirely.

this photo therefore takes place of some surreal concert footage i'm sure i could have captured. this is at the overlook on the way to boulder from denver.

spent a little bit of time in boulder, then off to the show for the evening. this was my first actual concert at red rocks, as i've played in the amphitheatre as as a kid (sans music), and what a night. to see this band there as well just heightened the whole effect - moments of complete silence from the crowd as only ivories twinkled or the wind whistled between the rocks. of course the rockin' parts were rockin' as well.
