Stock dove

This stock dove (Columba oenas) is one of a pair that visits regularly (I also have pairs of collared dove and woodpigeon). Stock doves are on the Amber status conservation list because their numbers have declined in Europe and the UK has an important breeding population. So hopefully my pair will shortly be 'doing their bit' for the rest of Europe.....
Working from home today. It is 5pm and it has only just stopped raining (I really must put out something to measure the rainfall).
Will try and respond to comments tonight (I've been having a bit of trouble with my hands when doing a lot of computer work so have been trying to rest them. Gave up on rest and tried exercise today so we'll see how that works!)
