a great day
We had fun this morning. We did our practice (I did 6 dropbacks, 3 with help, 3 mostly on my own), we showered and then headed of to Kamalaya just along the road from our retreat. From one retreat to another, this place was amazing. It is built into the hill amongst the rocks and vegetation.
Breakfast was a healthy, delicious affair and included some much needed coffee. We also tried the brain tonic - a shot of 'green stuff' so we are now feeling super intelligent :-)
After breakfast we wandered around and checked out the facilities and we loved it so much we didn't leave until 2:30. We tried to get them to sell us some of their crockery...but unfortunately they didn't have any spare stock. We sat and chatted for hours, the view and the company was spot on.
As if that wasn't good enough I managed to buy an antique necklace. it comes with a little certificate which begins "you deserve this"..I rather think I do and I love it. The moment I saw it I knew that was the thing I'd been looking for. Very pleased with it.
So my blip today is the three of us relaxing at Kamalaya, we all felt very at home!
My body was aching this morning and I think it will again tomorrow morning but the funny this is that once I get on my mat and start I seem to forget about it. I wonder how long I can keep this up when I get back? Apparently, in Mysore they practice as early as 4:30am...the sleepier ou are the better as you don't think, you just do...
Photoshoot tomorrow morning...very much looking forward to that.
