Bridge & Cocktails

The two go well together, especially when you're not especially fond of one ;)

We tried out the recipe for the Viva la Revolucion from last weekend, and Mike managed a pretty good replication, apart from viscosity...

The evening brought back fond memories of our time in Berlin, when Mike mentored a little bridge clique and we practised on Yahoo Bridge when SHEK was away... And the time he took us to a club and one of our coterie accused a couple of old ladies of cheating.... Especially fond memories of that particular partner in crime who refused to take it as seriously as others and some wonderful evenings together.

As good as this one! Although perhaps my bridge was even worse...

Thinking of these great times makes me miss Helen and Baerbel, and all the other MPIIB colleagues as well. Must get in touch again....
