Soggy Pussywillow!

It's been a very soggy day here....but a day not without excitement!

First off: an update on Sherlock and the beaver story .... so since this blip, 2 days ago...Sherlock has been in the pond 3-4 times, harrassing the poor little beaver! you'd think it would try and relocate by now! He hasn't put up the same fight as the first time....which lasted almost 2 hours....his latest swims have been anywhere from half and hour to 40 minutes! so i guess he's learning, but just can't quite give it up!!!

Secondly, my birthday present from my dear friend Karen arrived today....2 books from Amazon. Pilgrimage by Annie Leibovitz....what a stunning book....full of images of places that famous people lived....like, Virginia Woolf, Georgia O'Keefe, Elvis....she spent a few years visiting and photographing places and the belongings of these people she has admired....i've glanced thro it and it is totally amazing! the other one is the autobiograhy of Marc Chagall....one of my absolute favorite artists! this is more of a book to take to bed....the Leibovitz is definitely a daytime book to be oggled over!!!

Thirdly, 2 visitors came to the studio....first time this year really - and purchased some pots....always makes me happy to see my pots heading off to someone's home!

now it's time for dinner and another beer!
