Faded and jaded

We are moving into new maths territory. Our eldest who prefers reading to maths has been showing excellent understanding of the concepts which is pleasing. Equally pleasing is child#2 who has a better grasp of mathematical patterns and the like has started reading her fourth book of the year on her own in bed.

Meanwhile Screamadelica (he has a tendency at the moment to scream without much reason) aka the number one son is nearing the point of no more sleep in the afternoon and with it the grinchiness.

These pencils have seen better days.
