my new love.

last week I decided I wanted to track down an old phone to photograph for my portfolio page and was supposed to be going to a shop in York that sells house clearance things to look for one (probably for a massive price). anyway, the weekend got booked up and I haven't had chance to go.

it's dad's birthday today so I went to surprise him this afternoon and this treasure was sitting on the stairs. he has no interest in phones, but to old things he is a magpie and he's bought this from one of his outings.

I've swiped it and cleaned it up ready to photograph it but it's my new love now. we plugged it in and it has the most beautiful ring so now I'm trying to decide how much dad will miss it from his life, bearing in mind that he is a massive impulse buyer.

speaking of impulse buyers, in the last two days I have ordered a wide angle extension tube and filter, 3 nail varnishes, 25 books and some teeth whitening strips. think I've found where I get that trait from.
