Package

When we got back from the zoo yesterday we'd found a card telling us there was a package too large for our letter box that the postie had taken back to the sorting office. So at lunchtime today I journeyed to the outer reaches of Portobello and picked it up - what a surprise! It contained two traditionele dweilen or torchons traditionnels from our old friend in Brussels. When we were last there Mr H was musing on how we never see these useful items at home (they're large, sturdy floorcloths that people in Belgium use as washable door mats, usually just inside the kitchen door....). Thank you, Ogatodomar!

I wonder if the singular dweil is the origin of the word dwile, as in the thing that is famously flonked?

Just noticed, not a balloon day or anything, but that's 900 blips.
