Taking inspiration from the fun Google Doodle today, a close up of a zip.

I realised that I don't actually own that many items with a good chunky zip. This zip is from my vintage-inspired sports top with distressed writing, bought in Coney Island on a trip to New York. Reading Gideon Sundback's details in the article made me think of this top and my trip to New York, especially as we stayed in Hoboken for a few days. And this is where he came up with the idea for Universal Fastener Company.
