Maestros galore

An extra bit of rehearsal for the choir tonight. We're singing at the funeral of the wife of one of our former choristers. He left the choir some time ago, to spend the remainder of her time with her. He's asked us to sing the Sanctus from Faure's Requiem.

In this somewhat 'historic' shot, we have our lovely new conductor (Rowen), with our lovely former conductor (Walter, who will play organ on this occasion) and our lovely accompanist Janette (well, her lovely hands, anyway), who will play piano. As might be expected when musicians get together, they yap - ostensibly about the music, but I think at this moment they may have been discussing mice (as you see, the weather has turned cold and that means the wildlife starts moving into our houses for the winter).

We haven't seen Walter since he retired last Christmas, so tonight was a bit of a treat in that respect.
