Today The Sun Shone

Today the sun shone.....perhaps it's little Hal looking down on us with a gift.

Last night Cedar passed his Silver Test at training class, the baton passes from the old to the young. He also discovered ladies on the same night and fell in love with a little Cavalier called Rosie, not the best of timing but after a few words with him he did settle.

Today was his first walk in two and a half weeks after the nail incident. Words cannot describe his joy at being out and sniffing everything possible to sniff. Normally he is slightly mental, only having two gears...stop and flat out but today he excelled himself.

We met a lovely little puppy on the way back to the van (after being mistaken for a choc lab again....and by a gsp owner!) They actually asked if we'd been on our walk/run, I think the only giveaway was that I was rather sweaty and purple after running....he fresh as a daisy was ready for another round.

Of course there will no settling for either Cedar or Drake till I sit down for the evening...sometimes it's like having four legs! This was a brief moment where he looked like he might settle with Drake, but I moved.

I await the sleep with glee.

I'll sleep when I'm dead.
