Mango Mango

Its is mango season in India at the moment. Have just persuaded the greengrocer to deliver a whole box. I am sure my Carbon Footprint for a year has already been exceeded in air freighting these fruits half way round the world but they were delicious. If i had not bought them would they still have been airfreighted. Yes of course. So should I persuade everyone else not to buy air freighted fruit? That sounds like a mission doomed to failure. Or have I given up too easily?
