Why did I come in here?

Freedom!!!!

After four weeks the Doc has allowed me out on a short lead, wrapped up and kept muzzled. The lungs are clear, not exactly working fully yet but getting there. I was amazed at the birdsong, the new growth on the trees and the feel of fresh air on my face.

There were literally hundreds of swallows and swifts hammering around the sky, they make their nests in the spoil heaps from the ancient tin mines. I saw and heard robins, blackbirds, buzzards, chiff-chaffs, yellow hammers, stone chats all sorts of birds; plus the sound of the stream was wonderful. It will be a torrent tomorrow as the rain is inbound with a vengeance. Drought can be a difficult time. Doh!

As I got back to the car I noticed swallows taking water from the pool just in front of the car. A bit of patience and voila as they say in Manchester, there was my blip.

If you read my blip from yesterday you may wonder if this is the same person writing today, I can promise you it is. :-))
