Beach Life

These guys come from North Africa bringing their wares to sell on the beach and around the towns. They traipse around all day moving from place to place, either laying out the goods on blankets on the ground or simply carrying armfuls of stuff around the bars. When the police arrive to move them on they hot foot it as fast as they can. I took this one from a beach bar with a plastic window so it's very blurry and hence given this look in Photoforge. A little swarm of these guys appeared moving speedily up the beach looking for another pitch. Sure enough, a few minutes later the police could be seen along the promenade. This game has been going on for years and neither party seems to mind!
