With the intent of finishing one of my projects in the editing lab at school today, I spent 40 minutes riding the Metra to the city. Soon after I got off the train, I realized that I forgot to bring my flash drive, which had the entire project on it! So I sighed, turned around, and waited an hour until the next train home.

Later today, I boiled some eggs, forgot about them, and fell asleep. My dad then woke me up and told me that the eggs exploded all over the kitchen. I was embarrassed because a couple of his friends were over and the entire house smelled like burnt metal and eggs.

I've been getting more and more absent-minded lately. Maybe I have a brain tumor. In psychology class last year I read a story about a lady who, all of sudden, became extremely forgetful. As it turned out, she had a brain tumor. I've always been absent-minded my whole life, but it's gotten a lot worse lately. Uh-oh... (cue eerie music)

Jason told me that he had to put Tigger to sleep this morning because he had terminal stomach cancer. I'm sad. He was a good cat. My dad, sister and brother are mourning his death too (because he used to be my stepmom's cat). Jason wants to scatter Tigger's ashes over my stepmom's grave. My dad, my brother and I love the idea and we really appreciate the kind gesture. You're great, Jason!
