Gate

I was looking hard for an interesting blip on the way to work and turned to sunlight on stone, a favourite. The more I look at this gateway, the more I like it: the idea of producing something so lovely for ornamental purposes; and the resilience of what must be quite an old piece in surviving countless Glasgow winters (and springs, summers and autumns).
