McMansion

Two weeks ago I took a photo of a modest house close to the hospital I'm working at occasionally. These dwellings are often bought, then bulldozed, and a larger house built on the land. However, they are usually ugly, fill up the whole block and poorly designed (especially in view of the extreme heat we can face in the summer). This isn't quite a mcmansion as the latter would probably be more gauche but it does fir the criteria of ugly. No perspective or depth in this house at all, but as you can see, is a big house. I'd have the weatherboard cottage any day....
