The Great Wall

After 4 months in Beijing, finally made it to the Great Wall.

After having an argument with a vendor about her trying to rip us off over a bottle of water, Paul and I trudged towards the Cable Car ranting about what a horrible woman she was....so....

...we somehow missed the Cable Car entrance and ended up walking up to the Wall!! We were supposed to get up there at 14 and walk to 6 but we got there at 10, walked up many, many, very steep steps to 14 then all the way back down again to 6 where we got the toboggan down - great fun.

Beautiful clear day, could even see the skyscrapers of Beijing in the distance
