Pink canopy
I was driving south today to visit my Mum in Yorkshire. I wondered why there were so many English flags hanging out of windows, then realised it is St George's Day - of course! I've been in exile too long!!
The weather was pretty hopeless for decent landscape shots of northern England today, so I decided to blip the canopy of blossom along the cul de sac round the corner from where I grew up. The trees have been there for as long as I can remember. I used to collect the blossom and make 'perfume' from it! Today the trees were heavy with beautiful pink blossom.
