Open that door.

Today was open doors day in Edinburgh. We drove down to see the Royal Observatory atop of Blackford hill.

We eventually made our way around the facinating buildings and listened to the enthused helpers and sat through a lecture from a postgrade astronomer. We learnt that the TMT and the VLT, actually are the Thirty Metre Telescope and the Very Large Telescope. They have a sense of humour, all of their own.
We eventually headed for the EXIT, or the way out and went to another open door.
