Life though my lens

Lady MacRobert

This memorial statue found in a little hide away corner of Aberdeen University was dedicated by the Lady MacRobert as a gift to the University as a memorial statue to her 3 sons she lost in the war. It was created by Robert Hurd in 1965 and is a lovely quite place in the hurry and bustle of busy students most of with fast approaching coursework and exams.

I had a busy day followed by a Torcher parade meeting for the Dirty Weekenders, as this weekend is the Torcher Parade in Aberdeen to raise money for the local charities. Our float is going to be based on a monopoly theme and fingers crossed we raise loads of money!
