It's April
And those showers just keep on coming. Will be glad when May comes along and I can get out and shoot something else.*
Never rains but it pours though. Not only have we now had final reminder letter about our oldest child's single day's absence from school almost two months back, telling us we may be guilty of an offence as parents (it was Heather's 18th birthday and, as an adult, she took it upon herself to take the day off. That probably pushed her into double figures of days off in her whole six years of school there), but we now have a second warning letter about a day Euan was absent last month. The best of it is though, he wasn't. He was on a school organised trip. One on which n0-one at school or supervising the trip knew he was on until after the school had caused us mild panic after they sent us both out texts to ask why he wasn't at school.
Another notch in that handcart to hell for us bad parents.
I'm off to take my frustrations out on some Jet Set Willy now.
*Who am I kidding. It's Scotland, it's April all year round.
