Happy St George's Day!

today would've been the perfect day for the inaugural St George's Day Bank Holiday. it's a monday, and it's St Georges Day, plus it's the anniversary of the birth and death of the most famous English writer, Mr Shakespeare! but, it's not to be. for 9 minutes my with my alarm on snooze, i imagined it was! off to work, and ipod on shuffle. random Westlife song comes on, one i specifically downloaded cos Alex, the Crown Prince liked. As it started to play, i see his lovely little face singing (as it always is!), i get a lump in my throat, and then eyes start to well up! he's moving to the Isle of Man soon, and i'm sooooooo going to miss him and Liv, and bro and Mand.

Flick on a couple more songs, and The Wanted, Glad you came, which is mine and Liv's duet! i laugh at that one, as i love it! meetings back to back at work, and had planned to go for a St Georges Day beer at lunch, but didn't transpire. instead, i wandered down to the square to take this pic. love it.

Meetings in the afternoon, and then home. Monday done yet again. now a little charity paperwork to get done before bedtime. oh, by the way, we've raised £1400 before £4£ from our Macmillan walk, fab effort, and still aching!
