Determination Required

Samantha in my NY Yankees T shirt, a combination of a New Year Resolution to not purchase any item of clothing in 2012 and giving my T's to Sam has seen some room appear in the airing cupboard, not much but some.
This giving away however may have to cease as my Weight Watchers loss of the last eight months goes into reverse, I am now 1/2 stone heavier than at Christmas. Tonight's gain was glibly put down to having a cast on my arm following last weeks accident, sadly it is a small cast and I fear my WW leader will be disappointed next week if there is not a substantial loss.
I am hoping that my return to hospital tomorrow for the dressings to be changed and an assessment of any long term damage might be the end of my inactivity and that I will be able to return to the gym.
The alternative will be a return to the 'strict' early days of steamed vegetables and not much else - bad news.
Notwithstanding the hospital visit it is my birthday and I have no doubt that there will cake involved not going to help much - bad news.
I am also forgoing the Army v Navy rugby match at Twickenham this coming Saturday, the first such occasion I will have missed in almost 30 years. There are various reasons for not attending, not going forms part of my self imposed punishment after the accident, I normally travel back on the Sunday but we have a family commitment on the Sunday which takes priority and in the current financial climate £200 for a day out - I don't think so.
Not despondent though - better days are coming.
