Lucky escape!

Tom was clearing out the pond today.He scooped a handful of leaves from the bottom of the pond into the compost bin when he saw something move.
Lo and behold we saw these toads.
Didn't see them last year.
Their camouflage is amazing.
We put them into this trug until the pond had been refilled.
