Olympic torch

Better SMALL!!!!

This is the prototype for the olympic torch. Destined for a museum rather than the road this rather beautiful gold-plated piece of engineering has 8,000 perforations - one for each torchbearer. Read more about it here.
I'm ignoring the person holding it because she looks old and tired!! (This is what she looked like 6 months ago)
