Waiting for Godo

Spotted on nearby decking, two chairs waiting for hire, singly or together overlooking the Meadow's cherry blossom and a lawn of dandelions.
Estranged couples are invited to apply. Cushions are available at an extra cost for those with tender posteriors.

For those with an athletic disposition, there are 3 pairs of football boots available for use on the adjoining patio.

I have to say it was particularly difficult not to go with the cherry blossom again today. Finally the blossom seems to be at its most flamboyant, and I even managed to catch it with blue sky behind, but not for long as the clouds appeared once more with their attendant showers.
However the duller light seems to highlight the colour, and against the green of the newly cut grass in the Meadows, it's magical eye candy.

Now I must refrain from staring out the window and get down to re- reading the book - 'The Sense of an Ending' by Julian Barnes for the book group for tomorrow.
Oh, and the cake has not sunk in the middle; I knew you would want that bit of important information.
