Filled

After excavating enough stone to finish edging our pond we were left with a big hole.

Said hole has now been filled with about half a metre of well rotted manure to the bottom of planking. Then the topped of with the contents of two of the large bags we have been growing tatties in. As the tatties grew we layered on compost, soil from turf mounds that have been quietly decomposing in a corner of the garden and grass clippings. This has produced a lovely fragrant crumbly mix.

We'll let it settle for a few weeks and then top it up with some more bag contents and then get some garlic planted.
