Max--Content to the Maximum!

This afternoon before stepping into the hot bubbling water in the spa end of the pool, I spread the beach towels and my fluffy flannel robe on the cement right in front of the water. I knew the three pooches would plop themselves down as close to us as possible and be quite content. That's exactly what they did.

Several times they changed places on the towel; they would circle and twirl and rearrange the material with their paws, and occasionally they ran barking toward the backyard gate, but they'd always come back and plop back down. Even though they don't like the pool, if we are in the water they get quite close and snuggle down to wait for us to get out.

The time in the spa today was very relaxing. We thought Max's photo belongs next to the word "content" in the dictionary. That's how we felt sitting in the bubbly hot water.
