Ducks

More swimming today- Chloe at Palace and Joe at Gillingham, so Joe went down with a friend, I took Chloe, and Doug and Heidi met us for lunch.

Heidi liked the dinosaurs, but just like my Y4 class, seemed just as happy studying the ducks. (We took the class on a school trip to a magnificent Buddhist Temple in Wimbledon, yet having read their recounts, for many the highlight was the duck in the pond!)

Reminded me of a story I've been told many a time, when my Dad took me to London Zoo as a nipper. What did I choose to recount to Mum on our return? The squirrel we saw in the park on the way there, of course!

Good 100m freestyle PBs for my two ducks today, so take away pizza for tea.
