Sugar River in drought

Rapidly losing the light after a wonderful dinner out, I snapped this blip on the way home. This is the Sugar River, the only outlet for all of Lake Sunapee, and we have not had enough rain this year. Lots of rain forecast starting tomorrow, roughly our entire monthly average in just 24 hours.

When it rains, it pours. Here's hoping some of it soaks into the parched ground.
