We paddled in the sea today.

Sorry, I absolutely did not paddle in the sea today. Rudy did and then Alice suddenly very quickly decided that she should too. So she did.

This is taken in the toilets at Gullane beach. They are not the finest public toilets I have ever been in but for a moment the sky-light was a bit beautiful. Then a cloud passed in front of the sun and some of the shadows explained themselves to be blobs of paper mached toilet roll splats. Lovely. And brought back memories of Secondary School. Gazing upwards in English class and wondering how the mash of chewed up hand towels had made it up onto the ceiling. I found out soon enough. Ah, the ingenuity that boredom brings.
