Wedding Presents for Monkeys

I always remember my Dad saying "it's a Monkey's Wedding", when it was raining and the sun was shining at the same time. Nobody ever seems to know what I am talking about when I say it now. It is apparently a phrase that originated in South Africa, which might explain why no one here has heard it. My Dad was brought up in Kenya so it must have spread up there at least.

Without a blip for the day, I got out of my car when I got home, wondering what I should take, and turned round to see this incredible rainbow behind me.

I think the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow must be a wedding present for monkeys.
