Kourion

We popped down to Kourion beach for lunch today, it was so windy we couldn't go for the walk we were planning on, but on our way out, we stopped at this viewpoint and sat and took in the views for a while. It was not at all windy up here, so we sat for a while in the quiet and warm, watching kestrels hovering and pointing out animals on the farm land below (just chickens and horses we think). There is also part of the ancient ruins of Curium down there, which I will blip in more detail another time. In the distance is the peninsula were the Atrotiri RAF base is. And most importantly, the middle white restaurant on the beach is Chris Blue Bar, where they do the best seafood and absolutely immense waffles with ice cream!
