You lookin' at me!

We were down the wood fairly early this morning and were lucky enough to find a family of four deer. They are masters of hidden movement and would give the SAS a run for their money so after taking about 30 shots, this is the best of a pretty motley bunch.
I did try to get a decent photo of a woodpecker but s/he was way up in the tree tops and was far too shy.
We also managed to fit in a stroll around Stirling Castle Esplanade, a visit to Airthrey loch at Stirling University and a wander along the Forth & Clyde canal. Oh, and the car got a well-deserved bath!
