Happy Birthday...

Busy day today as mentioned yesterday but it all got done.

Swimming lessons: check.
Haircuts: check. Unfortunately a large proportion of my hair now appears to be grey.
Get car tire fixed: check, and only £20
Lunch for JohnP's 40th: check (more photos here featuring +1/3 as guest blipper)
Gig: check.

The gig was interesting; a slight mismatch between the clientele and us. Well, not so much us; I suspect they all really just wanted left alone to get on with some serious drinking. First set was fine, plenty of interest from the audience (drunkenness index: slightly pissed), second set was so-so (drunkenness index: quite pissed, some staggering), third set was done pretty fast (drunkenness index: high; people sleeping through loud music). Ah well, at least we got to play and got paid.
