no. 58 - second draft of painting

Couple of spare hours today, so got to work on my painting. Looking back at the first draft it's not that obvious what I have spent 2 hours doing! However the sky def. looks more refined now (I love painting skies... such a sense of satisfaction!)

Been another mad week at work. Revising this morning with the London Marathon on in the background. I did the Berlin Marathon last Sept, but just haven't really been motivated to do much running since. However I must admit that watching all those people today triggered an urge in me - If only there were more hours in the day, or I needed less sleep... or I didn't have to work a 5 day week... Damn those if onlys! They need to be turned into def. maybes!!
