Da Bomb

This 16in World War Two Artillery shell bizarrely used to be one of the most romantic places in Glasgow.For years it stood in the very Centre of Glasgow Central Railway Station and for over 50 years people met up with their girlfriends and boyfriends for the start of their dates ,greeting each other with a kiss.God knows how many marriages started and kids were born after meeting at this terrifying symbol of a horrible war .At least it has brought joy to the thousands who remember it.

It now sits alone forlorn in a forgotten dusty corner of the station the romantic couples of today now meet at the not very romantic Tie Rack concession which has sadly taken its place.
